Saga Tenix will supply fleet management systems and driving style systems to Norway’s second-largest bus company. The agreement has a total value of NOK 12 million and extends until 2029.
“We are pleased that Tide wishes to continue its partnership with Saga Tenix. The green transition is in full swing within the mobility industry, and as the country’s second-largest mobility company, Tide plays a crucial role in the shift towards a more sustainable bus industry. With Saga Tenix’s smart systems, Tide will be at the forefront of this work,” says Torbjørn G. Krøvel, CEO of Saga Tenix.
Since 2014, Saga Tenix has provided IT services to Tide’s buses, and the agreement is now being expanded to include fleet management systems and driving style systems. The extended agreement covers the delivery of systems to over 800 buses in areas such as Trondheim, Vestfold, Sogn, and Sunnhordaland.
“Saga Tenix is a forward-thinking supplier with a focus on innovative solutions and optimal operations. We have had very positive experiences with Saga Tenix over a ten-year-long partnership and look forward to continuing to work with them to create excellent and sustainable travel experiences,” says Ronny Paulsen, Director of Business Development at Tide.
The agreement is a renegotiation of the previous contract between the two companies and extends until 2029 in certain areas.
